All of the artists who make up pd/pm are intimately involved in Portland's vibrant music community. More complete information on their current and past work, and archived sound recordings from the short-lived 411 space, will be available online through the (currently under constuction) Web site hub www.rasbliutto.org.

Kathleen Keogh is a movement and dance artist primarily concerned with improvisation. She studied performance at Prescott College in Arizona, and after moving to Portland in 2000 became involved in the dance and performance community there through groups like super unity and outlets such as Performance Works and the 411 space. Ms. Keogh is continually searching for and refining her movement and collaborative techniques in solo work, contact improvisation, and sound.

Kelvin Pittman relocated to Olympia, WA from Portland this past summer after a stunning display of music/movement/social prowess in his micro-opera performed at Reed College in spring 2003, as well as co-operating the 411 space in SE Portland. He currently plays the alto saxophone, but is equally at home on percussion and guitar. His past musical projects include Owl in Daylight, super unity, and the Bay Area's Control R Workshop. Mr. Pittman also maintains an ongoing dialog with sound theorist Tim Bradley.

Janice McKeachern moved to Portland from Austin, TX in fall 2003 after forming deep connections to the Portland music community during a summer visit. Her work on prepared guitar is charactized by subtle movements and shifts in sound and an intense attention to detail, space, and time. In Texas she worked regularly with percussionist Chris Cogburn. Ms. McKeachern is also a world-class synchronized swimmer.

Mark Kaylor plays the drum set, is a lover of poetry, and has a peculiar fascination with buying junk, turning it into un-junk, and selling it. Since involving himself in the Portland improvised music community, Mark has established himself as a powerful player and consistent human being. Past and current projects include: Htoo, Tat Vamasi, Free YOur Drumbs, 5hz, and the 411 space.

Leif Erik Sundstrom hails from Dallas and Austin, TX. Upon arriving in Portland in summer 2002, he encountered Jean-Paul Jenkins and Don Brown improvising on the streets and was immediately drawn to the music. Since then he has been steadfast in his pursuit of personal language and relevance on the drum set. Classically trained, Leif brings a particular ability to groups like Free YOur Drumbs, htoo(+), and ongoing work with Kathleen Keogh and Jack Lunetti. Lief recently toured the West Coast with Htoo(+) and was instrumental in the activities of the 411 space.

Bryan Eubanks has lived and worked in Portland for seven years, after relocating from various small towns in Eastern Washington. He is most interested in the soprano and alto saxophones, and has been continually developing electronic work with manipulated CDs, objects, and open-circuit electronics. This past year he co-operated the 411 space, toured the West Coast thrice and the East Coast once, playing with artists from Portland and the various locations visited. In the winter of 2004 he will be playing and recording in Seoul, Korea, with Joseph Foster and Korean improvisers including pianist Soo-Jung Kae, and participating in the Linespaceline Festival of Improvised Music in L.A. In Portland he works or has worked with super unity, fje trio, Dan Reynolds, Don Brown, Doug Theriault, Jack Lunetti, htoo, tat vamasi, and many others.
